How much does interior construction cost per square foot?
There are many factors that influence construction costs. Type of use, materials, existing conditions, retrofitting, demolition, systems, locations, and governmental regulations can all affect cost. Each case is unique. Therefore, PCD Building Corp. strives to get a detailed and complete scope of work through interviewing each clients requirements. This allows us to develop accurate budgets very early in the conception phase. Cost per square foot analysis provides vague and sometimes unreliable data at best. We focus on providing our clients with more reliable costs earlier in the project.

Where do you do business?
PCD Building Corp. is located in Orlando, Florida. Our primary focus is in the Central Florida Region. We do however travel throughout the State of Florida for some of our continuing clients.

How does your design-build process work?
Our design build process kick starts the schedule to allow design and cost estimating to proceed simultaneously. This allows the project to break ground much sooner than traditional methods, saving both general conditions and design costs. It also allows us the opportunity to tailor the means and methods of the construction to take advantage of current market conditions for materials and systems. Working directly with the architects and engineers during design also cuts lead times for equipment and systems, further reducing the overall project schedule. This method of contracting saves time and money without sacrificing quality.
